El Plantío International School of Valencia, El Plantío ISV, was founded by
Doña Lucía Ortega with the aim of preparing confident, independent adults fully prepared to face the modern world and the globalised economy in the context of an international education. Today we can be proud of the results, exemplified in the experiences and successes of our former students and we continue to strive to provide quality education for children and young people.

40.000 m² built to accommodate students from a wide range of nationalities aged 2 to 18 years. A British and international ethos together with learning and education in traditional values not only guarantee a high academic level but also a solid preparation in personal skills.

El Plantío International School offers specialised studies in drama for students interested in the performing arts and who want to pursue their vocation in the wide range of options open to them in the world of theatre.

Given the long theatrical tradition in the UK the teachers are experts who have been trained there and will guide the students to success in the official exams.

El Plantio ISV boasts outstanding sport facilities which enable our students to develop different skills such as football, handball, basketball, volleyball, gymnastic, athletics…. according to their age.

As well as being made aware of the link between participating in sports and good health, students are encouraged to pursue their own goals and achievements through individual and group competition and teamwork.

The school has a dining room and on site kitchen.This allows us to oversee the quality of the meals and adapt healthy menus appropriately according to each key stage and season.

The very youngest children are assisted by the teaching staff, helping them to enjoy a good and varied diet.

Discovering from observation, research, exchange of ideas and reflection.Be an active part and not simply observers of the learning process itself.

This is what we teach our students in all areas and we complement it with strategies that encourage reflection and critical thinking, essential skills in this age of instant access to information.

El Plantío ISV has a library with more than three thousand books and other relevant publications which are available to students for consultation, investigations and reading.

This space is also used as a study area by the older students.

Although the school is only 10 km from the centre,, awide network of buses connects to the city and the surrounding towns.

Our administrative staff design the route that best meets the needs of each family and take into consideration the comfort of our students.

The school offers a boarding facility for students, the residence is a large, rural style chalet surrounded by a spacious garden. Here the student will find all they need to feel at home; TV lounge, kitchen and service area, laundry room, central heating, study and games rooms. The residence houses children of different ages and nationalities in an enriching environment where different cultures meet and share.

Students have the opportunity to complement their learning with extracurricular activities that take place after the classes are finished. Whether it’s sports: football, tennis, judo,… or even swimming during school hours.

Languages like Mandarin Chinese or Music and Interpretation within Speech and Drama, anything is possible in a wide variety of activities that are offered each year according to demand.

In July El Plantio ISV offers its Summer School which is open to all students. With new ideas every year to learn and improve the English language in a fun and stimulating atmosphere.
